[파키스탄] Karachi - Sukkur - Peshawar (9.24.-9.27.)

Suddenly, eyes opened. I fumbled about to find my mobile phone on bedside table. I was momentarily dazzled my eyes in the dark room by the light of mobile screen. So far, I couldn't exactly realize that I was in dream a few minute before. 2:22am. Started to recognize the line between dream and reality. Slowly, I woke from a dream. A lot of emotion vividly remained on me even though I've came across the line. I knew that it would be disappeared into oblivion soon. A few moments of hesitation, I hurried to grab the S-pen from my mobile then wrote down my feeling which was still rememberable.

I met my mom. There was some place I've never been there. Darkness, no window if there's one it should be covered by heavy curtains, being pissy in the room, Mom wore white long sleepwear. She held me and began to cry then asked back to me why she became terminally ill. Sadly, Mom talked me she's coming close to the line, going to die. Sadly.

Different place, I saw her sitting at doorstep. She was staring at me with warm smile. I realized that is the only thing she could have chance to go out from a sickbed in whole day, besides, it might be the only joy she were waiting. Hurriedly, I returned my friend back. Then I had just decided to ask little by little about my mother's life she has walked from a girl to a mother. However, mother has passed away without any single word. No, before starting my queries. It was my fault. She was my mom, but I had no idea the person who became mother before. I could not shed tears. though, It breaks my heart.           

Weird. It's similar situation. Mom comes to me when I recall the word of Indus accordingly. "Indus river", what is connected to what from me. 2:34am. I met mom. The day when I came across indus river to Rawalpindi from Peshawar. The place where I lay on the small single bed in old hotel. Don't forget.

I flew here in Sukkur

the place, hard to reach

though the third biggest city in Sindh

basically, I prefer not to visit in interior Sindh Province

however the name of Sukkur is beguiling 

narrow street on slight slope  

come to remembrance when I visited in Hyderabad

There are two things which are well-known across Pakistan 

First is terribly hot weather

Local took me the old ruins

which is named Seven Sisters

No one knows the origin of that name

Several Tombs are decorated with unreadable Arabic

Seeing slow flow of historical river

wish to be close to eternity like a river

life goes

just follow full circle

The river is flowing slowly

Lifeline of civilization

The barrage of indus river is second famous one

A great river runs separately from here to whole interior Sindh thru several canals

Surprisingly, I easily saw dolphins leisurely swimming here in barrage

People lives with river which has a thousand of story

before sundown

return back on chaotic road

Again I took on small plan across airstrip

Journey is linked to Peshawar

Still too much dusty

crowded street in rush hour

the only asian in here

brooding myself why I am  

Am I on the proper way

Just follow life without doubt

Someday I'll meet her again
